 MAC Creme Cup Lipstick Review

So I have a confession.  This is actually the second time I've written this blog post because after spending over an hour writing it up first time round and adding the pictures etc it has mysteriously disappeared! Seriously annoying!!!  Has that happened to anyone else?

So today's post is on one of my favourite lipsticks to wear during the day and that is Crème Cup by MAC.  This shade is a gorgeous nude pink which has blue undertones and one of my favourite finishes.  The cremesheen finish is one of the most moisturising from the MAC range and provides a subtle, glossy and pigmented finish. I can't stand wearing lipsticks that dry out your lips because it is so uncomfortable, so the key thing I look for in a lipstick is the formulation.

I find this lipstick very easy to wear and it is definitely my 'go to' lip colour.  It is such a versatile shade because it isn't too brown or too pink so it goes with a variety of makeup looks and outfits. This is the perfectly toned pink lipstick for those with pale skin tones as it doesn't wash you out but doesn't give you that Barbie pink pop of colour that sometimes you just don't want. Crème Cup is also thankfully in the permanent MAC range so it is easy to find and I know I will definitely get through a few of these!

Like all MAC lipsticks Crème Cup has a scent so gorgeous you're tempted to eat it. The chocolate/vanilla aroma makes the formulation luxurious and I much prefer it to some of the more fruity or chemical smells you can get with lipsticks.

Crème Cup isn't a particularly long lasting lipstick so you do need to re-apply it throughout the day but that doesn't really bother me.  It's the kind of shade you can easily pop on without a mirror if you really have to and when it comes off it doesn't end up patchy so you can pretty much leave it to it's own devices!

You can buy Crème Cup from MAC for £14.

What do you think of Crème Cup? What is your go to day time lipstick?
